-Sugars - Fruit - Fast releasing Energy
-Starch - Bread - Longer lasting energy
-Fibre - Cereals such as bran - Helps with movement of food through intestines
2:Fats -Butter - Storage of energy over a long period of time
3:Proteins - Meat - Repairing of tissue

- Vitamin C - Oranges - Healthy skin

Food Test experiment
Experiment: To test for the presence of starch in bread
Method:

Using a dropper place iodine on a slice of bread
-
Using a dropper place water onto a slice of bread
-
Observe to see if any change in occurs in either slice
Results:

The slice of Bread with iodine should turn blue-black which proves starch exists in bread
-
The slice of bread with water should remain the same colour. This part of the experiment was used as a control
